Disaster Exercise Implementation and Assessment
DPRO's primary mission is centered around the commitment to improve disaster exercise implementation by providing new innovative tools combined with relevant "just-in-time" training. While most of our work is based upon successful experience with hospital and pre-hospital systems, much of the information is adaptable to other facilities and organziations interested in improving disaster response.

Simple solutions to hospital patient tracking -- DPRO provides a low tech solution to patient tracking that is adaptable to nearly any facility concerned with patient tracking in mass casualty situations. This simple tool has been successfully field tested and demonstrates accuracy and simplicity following a brief 'just in time training' manual (5-10 minutes).(Presented NDMS conference, 2006).

Disaster exercise casualty care coordination -- DPRO has created this Casualty Care Coordinator document to guide exercise planners in providing optimal care for their volunteers and maximizing their use during exercises. This information is organized under several headings which follow a comprehensive, step-by-step process from solicitation to orientation and finally to dismissal of volunteer victims. This document promotes a successful exercise and enhances the likelihood that volunteers will return to meet your future exercise needs.
